Insight Executive Solutions is supporting the appointment of a Building Engineer for a premier corporate environment in Manhattan, New York.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to take ownership of day-to-day building system operations, support high standards of service delivery, and maintain critical infrastructure within a professional corporate setting.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge across multiple building disciplines, proven preventive maintenance experience, and the ability to operate confidently to ensure an efficient, safe, and compliant workplace.
Candidates must have:- A High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- EPA certification along with any required local/state certifications or licenses
- Strong technical capability to monitor, maintain, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
- Proven ability to assist with preventive maintenance programs, manage energy efficiency, and handle emergency repairs
- Strong organizational, communication, and judgment skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
This role would suit someone who is technically strong, highly inquisitive, and comfortable collaborating across teams in a high-performing corporate setting.
