Location: New York
Work Schedule:
Part-time, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:00 p.m.
- 10:00 p.m., Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m.
SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the general maintenance of one of our transitional housing programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cleaning of the interior of the building includes; vacuuming, dusting, mopping, wax/buffing floors, emptying all garbage, taking care of recycling, cleaning windows, and cleaning bathrooms.
Snow removal on the property.
Changing light bulbs, fixing switches and outlets, and other maintenance as required.
Painting of property as needed.
Sweeping and keeping the exterior property of the building free of trash, leaves, etc.
Maintaining and ordering maintenance supply inventory.
Helping unload deliveries of supplies.
Delivering packages and mail to other sites when required by the Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent and/or related maintenance experience required.
Clean and valid driver's license required.
Previous maintenance experience is needed.
Needs the ability to establish workload priorities.
Physical ability to perform the essential job functions is needed.
