This is an onsite opportunity in New York, NY, supporting day‑to‑day facilities operations in a professional office environment. The role offers exposure to building operations, vendor coordination, office moves, workspace setup, and safety/compliance support.
How You Will Make An Impact- Support daily facilities operations to help maintain a clean, safe, and functional workplace for employees and visitors.
- Perform routine maintenance support, including minor repairs, furniture setup, equipment checks, and workspace adjustments.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for cleaning, HVAC, electrical, security, and other facility‑related services.
- Assist with office moves, workspace reconfigurations, furniture movement, and supply inventory management.
- Monitor facility systems, identify issues, and elevate maintenance concerns to management or contractors.
- Maintain facility‑related logs, schedules, records, and documentation.
- Support safety standards, emergency procedures, drills, and general workplace readiness.
- 3–5 years of experience in facilities support, building maintenance, workplace services, or a related role.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, custodial, or general building maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform hands‑on support, including lifting and moving furniture or equipment as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage logs, schedules, supplies, and competing requests.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for working with employees, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Practical problem‑solving ability and willingness to report, elevate, and follow through on facility issues.
- Comfortable working onsite in a corporate office environment.
