Job Shift: Day Shift

• Restrooms:
  Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc. Replenish bathroom supplies. Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
• Floors:
  Sweep, mop, vacuum floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners. Other floor work may include scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors.
• Kitchen Area:
  Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc.
• Classrooms and office space:
  Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, etc.
• Trash:
  Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport to disposal area.
• Snow Removal:
  Report to work during early morning hours to assist with snow removal.
• Other Duties:
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner.
  • Wash walls and woodwork.
  • Wash windows, door panels, partitions, walls and equipment; use ladders when required.
  • Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools - buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers, vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for cleaning and general maintenance.
  • Be on call in case of emergencies.

• Physically able to operate heavy machinery, lift heavy objects, and stand for long periods of time.
• Previous relevant experience required.

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
