Maintenance Technician

Fairview Rehab is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with experience in building maintenance and a strong commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
  • Complete painting, staining, and touch-ups in resident and common areas.
  • Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance.
  • Repair equipment and assemble furniture as needed.
  • Complete preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
  • Assist with snow removal and seasonal outdoor maintenance.
  • Safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Estimate materials and time needed for repairs.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including hazardous materials guidelines (MSDS/SDS).
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.
Qualifications
  • Previous maintenance or building repair experience required.
  • Experience with residential, commercial, or healthcare maintenance preferred.
  • Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects from start to finish.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    Dependable with a stable work history and excellent references.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical work as required.
