We are looking for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead team members in repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, primarily conveyors and sorting equipment, at our logistics and fulfillment locations.

Expertise with conveyor systems strongly preferred.

• Relies on experience and judgment to assign job plans and accomplish departmental goals; manages all C&W Services maintenance team members at the site.
• Promotes C&W Services internally and externally; demonstrates leadership and good judgment in approaching decisions.
• Assists in formulating standards and work procedures while performing duties and provides work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
• Maintains positive customer and employee relations.
• Ensures Maintenance department objectives and key metrics are met.
• Acts as a liaison to Account Manager, Planners, Customers, and Department.
• Leads team members by allocating time for one‑on‑one coaching and mentoring with high standards.
• Ensures compliance with all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Oversees all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Develops and oversees QA/QC inspection protocol for all work personnel and work performed.
• Achieves performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals.
• Communicates with all team members to support the development of short‑ and long‑range goals and objectives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management or related field (preferred) or transferable management experience (3 years minimum; 5 years preferred).
• Capability to obtain CMRP / ICML MLT 1.
• Working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment performed in conformance with established standards.
• Knowledge of basic/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements, and fasteners.
• Ability to operate and understand simple and complex heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role. The compensation for the position is: $98,600.00 - $.
