Location: New York
Description of Duties
Dust, polish tables, desks, etc.; sweep, mop, vacuum; gather and dispose of refuse; assist in general clean up of school, school grounds, and parking lots.
Opportunity to work 4 or 8 hour shifts.
RequirementsNeat, clean appearance; punctual; ability to get along with professional and supportive staff; possess appropriate driver's license.
Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs. Frequently required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Required Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Some knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions
- Ability to get along well with others
- Ability to read and write
