Job Title

The town hall of Viviez is looking for a maintenance agent to ensure maintenance and upkeep operations at the level of the road network, green spaces, and buildings.

Tasks include:

• Detecting and reporting degradations and maintenance needs in the areas of the road network, green spaces, and buildings.
• Cleaning roads, sidewalks, and gutters.
• Sweeping and spreading salt (manual or mechanical) on roads and pathways during winter.
• Small civil engineering works.
• Cleaning and weeding public spaces and green areas.
• Pruning and cutting trees, mowing lawns.
• Maintenance and cleaning of urban equipment in public spaces.
• Setting up for events (furniture, signage, Christmas lights, etc.).
• Performing small works and basic maintenance of buildings.
• Moving furniture and arranging premises.

Skills and qualifications include:

• Using and checking the proper functioning of maintenance and cutting equipment.
• Driving a vehicle and small machinery as well as various equipment.
• Having knowledge of mechanics for all types of vehicles and small equipment.
• Ability to handle motorized equipment in compliance with safety rules.
• Discretion and public service sense.
• Relational skills with colleagues, elected officials, users, and associations.
• Autonomy and reactivity.
• Good physical resistance.
• Strict respect for safety rules.
• Reporting to the hierarchy.
• Proposing ideas and showing initiative.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Driver's license B required.
• Heavy vehicle licenses C and C1.
• CACES: A, B1, C1, and G.
