About Daybreak Independent Services, Inc.

In 2010, Daybreak Independent Services commenced operations to enable individuals with developmental disabilities to acquire and apply skills within traditional employment settings. Since that time, the organization has expanded its mission to multiple locations, increasing both its capacity and service offerings, and currently serves hundreds of New Yorkers living with developmental disabilities.

Partnerships with local businesses, such as Stew Leonard, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls, have facilitated the exponential growth of this vision. Additionally, the implementation of residential programs has enabled the organization to serve individuals who require continuous, round-the-clock supervision.

This represents only the commencement of these efforts. As the organization impacts lives daily, it evolves concurrently. Consequently, the work continues, and we anticipate future advancements.
