Porter/Event Venue Maintenance Associate

Location: Midtown Manhattan & Chelsea, NY

Pay Rate: $22/hour

We are seeking reliable Porters to support event venues in Midtown Manhattan and Chelsea. Selected candidates will participate in paid training and, upon successful completion, may be added to our preferred roster for ongoing event assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and restock bathrooms
• Manage trash collection and disposal
• Perform general venue walkthroughs and maintenance checks
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors as needed
• Open and close venues, including lights, doors, and other facility access points
• Clean kitchens, hallways, elevators, office spaces, and common areas
• Conduct routine audits of lights, floors, doors, and overall venue condition
• Report maintenance issues and damages to management
• Support weekly and bi-weekly cleaning and facility upkeep tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for guests and staff

Qualifications:

• Previous porter, janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, sweeping, mopping, and standing for extended periods
