Are you ready to build your career with the worldwide leader in transportation infrastructure, construction, and maintenance? If so, apply today! Barrett Paving Materials is seeking a Shop Mechanic to join our team in Jamesville NY. Compensation $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Perform maintenance and repairs on various construction equipment.
• Collaborate with the Shop Manager to ensure all equipment is functioning properly with all safety measures in place and operational.
• Support the Shop Manager in ensuring that all equipment operates in full compliance with environmental regulations related to maintenance.
• Work with the Shop Manager to uphold the highest safety standards during all maintenance operations performed and/or observed.
• Execute tasks on equipment independently, without direct supervision.
• Diagnose and repair a range of issues associated with mobile equipment.
• Assist in collecting data for maintenance databases.

• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Proficient in hands-on work.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in challenging conditions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• 10 years of experience with diesel truck and/or heavy equipment
• AC Certification
• ASE Certification
• NYS Inspection License
