Floor Care Technician/PM Porter
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Floor Care Technician to maintain floors and common areas in our healthcare facility. This role is essential to ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
Responsibilities:- Daily cleaning, stripping, waxing, and burnishing of floors
- Carpet cleaning and pressure washing of shower areas as needed
- Cleaning elevator tracks and expansion joints
- Safe operation of floor care equipment and proper chemical usage
- Maintaining floor care logs and submitting equipment work orders
- Assisting housekeeping as needed during emergencies
- High school diploma preferred
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a geriatric healthcare setting
- Willing to follow safety, infection control, and facility policies
