GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
have the qualifications to become a provisional hire; you will be required to take the exam when announced by Nassau County Civil Service.
Performs cleaning and semi-skilled maintenance tasks in a school building or an assigned section thereof; performs related duties as required.

Hours: 3pm-11pm
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Performs cleaning and semi-skilled maintenance tasks in a school building or an assigned section thereof; performs related duties as required.
Complexity Of Duties
Under general supervision, work includes semi-skilled repair and maintenance tasks in addition to routine cleaning activities, and may include supervision of Cleaners. This position does not perform skilled maintenance tasks nor supervise skilled maintenance personnel.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Sufficient physical strength to perform strenuous custodial activities.
Minimum QualificationsTraining and Experience
- One year of satisfactory experience in building cleaning and maintenance work;
- Two (2) additional items may be listed here but kept as separate bullets in the original; preserved text
or3.One year of satisfactory experience as a Cleaner in a Nassau County school district.
