Location: Port Jervis
Cleaner
Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of our school buildings. Such work is performed under the supervision of a Head Custodian and a Supervising Head Custodian. Cleaning experience is preferred.
Examples of work:
- Sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming of floors
- Washes windows, walls, whiteboard, furniture, blinds, and other building furnishings
- Dusts rooms, hallways, furniture, and other furnishings
- Cleans and replenishes lavatory supplies
- Replacement of light bulbs
- Moving of building supplies, materials, furnishings and building equipment
- Minor painting
- May perform snow removal, shoveling, and salting of sidewalks
