• Maintain physical building and property grounds.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Strip, seal and polish floors.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Wash all windows both inside and outside twice yearly.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Steam clean or shampoo all carpeting.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
• Scrub and disinfect bathrooms, urinals, toilet bowls and other fixtures daily.
• Fill all paper dispensers (paper towels, toilet paper).
• Fill all soap dispensers.
• Report any damage to school property to Director of Childcare.
• Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas.
• Set up, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs to prepare for school’s functions.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for building maintenance.
• Be on duty in the building when events are scheduled outside of regular school hours.
• Promote and support an environment of positive behavior.
• Serve as a role model for students, maintaining values such as integrity, respect for self and others, dignity, self-control and respect.
• Attend in-service training sessions, staff meetings and seminars as needed.
• Perform all other assigned duties.
• Must be able to read and write English.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read and write English.
