Deckhandswillberesponsibletomaintainthevesselsinastateofreadinesstoperformworkforcustomersasneeded.

Jobincludespullingheavylines,climbing onto,andwalkingonbarges,boatsandnarrowbargewalkways.

Employeeswillregularlyberequiredtostand,walk,climb,crawl,stoop,andsit.

Heavyliftingwillalsoberequired,upto
50lbsunassisted.

• Prepare grocery/supplies list.
• Plan,prepareandcookmultiplemealsforcrewmembers.
• Cleaning restrooms.
• Performspecialdutiesandotherprojectsasassigned.
• Adheretoallcompanypolicies.
• Accomplishalltasksasappropriatelyassignedorrequested.

• Mustbeabletocomprehend,respondandcarryoutspecificordersfromthecaptain.
• Abilitytocommunicateeffectively.
• Mustpossessgoodcommunicationskillsbyvoiceand/orvisualhandsignals.
• Abilitytolearnsafetyawareness,injuryprevention,firefighting.

• Minimum1-2yearsseatimeonvessels
• MusthaveavalidMMC
• ValidTWIC
• Mustpossessvaliddriverlicense
• CurrentUSCGmedicalcertificate

Compensationrangeis $250-$300perday.
