We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tenant Coordinator.
Job Responsibilities- Recordkeeping:
Oversees the monitoring and maintenance of records; ensures records are completed and relevant paperwork is kept in the office; maintains price quotes, tracks dates ordered/received, and keeps a current list of vendors. - Safety:
Identifies unsafe conditions in work areas and takes appropriate action to ensure the safety of self and others; communicates unsafe conditions to supervisor and must be available to respond to emergency calls after hours and on weekends. - Performs other duties as assigned.
- Floor Inspections:
Carries out daily floor and system inspections; ensures cleanliness, determines need or extent of service required, and coordinates inspections with building staff as needed. - Office Maintenance:
Keeps offices and common areas clean and orderly; ensures hallways and stairs are swept and mopped when required; empties trash and garbage containers regularly. - Heat and Hot Water Systems:
Monitors heat and hot water systems in off‑campus properties; ensures they function properly; notifies building management if problems occur; confirms repairs from outside vendors are performed timely. - Repairs:
Directs repairs to appliances and fixtures; responds to assignments in order of receipt, provides explanations when delays occur, and keeps supervisor advised of activities and problems; must be available after hours and on weekends. - Work of Contractors:
Monitors all work performed by outside contractors (e.g., painters, cleaners, HVAC) to ensure quality and completeness; ensures work meets standards and keeps supervisor informed of progress or discrepancies. - Maintenance of Equipment / Supplies:
Monitors maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operations; ensures adequate inventory; keeps equipment clean; inventories equipment and supplies; informs management of needed items; accepts and signs for deliveries after ensuring order completeness.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Three years of building maintenance experience in a residential or commercial building.
- General knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, air conditioning, heat, and hot water.
Commercial building maintenance experience is preferred.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Benefits and CompensationNYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state law on salary transparency. The range for this role is $58,500.00 – $72,800.00 annually. Actual salaries depend on experience, specialty, education, and hospital needs. The range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
