Household Helper​/Organizer

We're looking for a reliable, self-motivated household helper to assist a busy family with daily upkeep and ongoing home organization projects. The ideal person can walk into a home, and assess what needs attention. Tasks include household cleaning and maintenance such as:

• Reset and tidy common areas, kitchen, and kids' rooms each visit (2 bedrooms)
• Load/unload dishwasher, wipe down surfaces, reset counters
• Fold, wash, and put away laundry
• Vacuum and mop floors throughout the home
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors) (1.5 bathrooms)
• Wipe down appliances, cabinet fronts, and baseboards
• Dust surfaces, ceiling fans, and light fixtures, baseboards
• Change and wash bed linens
• Take out trash and recycling, break down boxes
• Tackle longer-term projects like basement organization on a rotating basis
• Occasional deep cleanings
• Suggest efficient ways to organize rooms and de-clutter
• Work independently across all rooms except the master bedroom

Both parents work from home, so you'll have people in the house during your shift. The two-story home includes three bedrooms, a basement, a porch, and a front and back yard. The master bedroom and parents' laundry are not part of this role.

We're a busy, active household that needs someone who can keep up with the everyday flow of family life and make the shared spaces feel calm and maintained.
