Cleaner​/Janitor

The Cleaner/Janitor at Crouse Community Center is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facilities, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for our residents and staff. This role is vital in preventing the spread of infections and contributing to the high standards of care delivered in our healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning within healthcare facilities and a strong commitment to health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of rooms, hallways, and common areas
• Use cleaning chemicals safely according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines
• Handle and dispose of waste using standard healthcare protocols
• Restock supplies in bathrooms and other areas as necessary
• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, and polishing
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed on the premises
