Salary Range $17.68 - $17.68 Hourly Position Type Part Time Job Shift Weekend Education Level High School/ Equivalent
DescriptionPerform cleaning services to all areas of Iona University.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Includes cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, climbing a ladder to clean windows and lifting up to 50 pounds of any assigned areas such as bathrooms, offices, classrooms, auditoriums, gymnasiums, dormitories etc.
- Collection and disposal of any garbage and recyclables from all trash containers and bringing it to designated areas.
- Sweep, mop, strip and buff hard wood floors where necessary.
- Report to supervisor any faulty building functions such as lights, doors, locks, bathroom fixtures.
- Assist snow removal department when needed.
- May require overtime.
- Any other duties as requested.
Required Experience
- Possess some knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning agents.
- Valid Driver's License.
- High School Diploma preferred.
