The Custodian role is responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and business‑ready interiors across Bread Financial facilities, including offices, warehouses, and industrial spaces. This position performs routine cleaning and facility maintenance to ensure all areas remain safe, functional, and well‑presented for daily operations. The Custodian also manages janitorial supplies and chemicals, maintains equipment, and partners with internal teams to support meeting spaces, events, and pantry operations.

• Perform routine cleaning duties and unskilled maintenance work. Manage inventory of janitorial supplies and chemicals, including hazardous materials. Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.

• Ensure all interiors of the facilities are in business-ready condition, defined as clean, repaired, organized, and safe. Report and address issues promptly, including resetting window blinds nightly.
  
  - (20%)
• Conduct daily morning walk-throughs of meeting spaces to ensure functionality and cleanliness. Set up and tear down conference spaces in partnership with Executive Assistant and Security team members.
  
  - (15%)
• Clean appliance exteriors daily, clean refrigerator weekly, and manage daily dishwashing. Assist with food setup for events and clean the kitchen before and after each event.
  
  - (15%)
• Maintain and verify food pantry inventory, monitor expiration dates, and dispose of expired stock. Replenish cooler inventory and work with the Executive Assistant to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  
  - (10%)
• Notify appropriate personnel about major repairs or additions to building systems. Manage cleaning and snack inventory, requisition supplies, and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR - American Heart Association
• 1+ years of experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred

• 2+ years of experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred

• Normal office environment. Required to work onsite, full-time within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.
