Housekeeping​/Custodial

Status: Seasonal / Full-Time / Part-Time (depending on needs)

Pay Rate Range: $16.50-$18.00

Availability Limits: Weekend and Holiday availability required

The Housekeeping/Custodial team at Swain Resort is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and employees. This position ensures that all lodging units, restrooms, and common areas are cleaned and restocked to resort standards, contributing to the overall guest experience and satisfaction.

• Clean and maintain all areas of the main lodge, including restrooms, common areas, dining spaces, and offices.
• Perform thorough cleaning of rental units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces.
• Change and launder linens and towels; make beds and restock amenities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all assigned areas.
• Remove trash and recyclables and ensure proper disposal.
• Replenish cleaning and paper supplies as needed throughout the resort.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of custodial closets and equipment.
• Assist with special projects, event setups, and seasonal deep cleaning.
• Follow all resort safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or hospitality cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, reaching, climbing stairs).
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak resort periods.
