Night Cleaning Supervisor, New York City (Bilingual Spanish/English)

Anvil Facility Services is hiring a night supervisor to run our New York City accounts, primarily Manhattan with coverage across the boroughs as assigned. Most cleans run evenings and overnight. You report directly to ownership. There is no layer between you and the person making decisions.

This is a hands-on job at a small, growing company. You supervise the crew, and you clean when a cleaner does not show up.

• $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience
• Weekly direct deposit

• Performance and pay review at six months

• Run a nightly route of assigned client sites across the city
• Recruit and phone screen cleaners through your own network and referrals
• Inspect each site against the client's checklist, photograph completed work, and submit it
• Cover a shift yourself when a cleaner calls out or no-shows, same night
• Train new cleaners on the floor: restroom procedure, mopping, trash and recycling, equipment use
• Manage keys, door codes, alarm access, and supply levels at every site
• Order supplies and keep the storage location organized and inventoried
• Answer client texts and calls directly in English and Spanish, and resolve complaints the same night
• Perform floor work: strip and wax VCT, scrub and recoat, buffing, carpet extraction, high dusting
• Report crew hours accurately for payroll, including overtime
• Take on weekend deep cleans and one-off projects, paid separately from your regular hours

• 3 or more years of commercial cleaning experience, including at least 1 year leading or supervising a crew
• Fluent Spanish and working English. Our cleaners speak primarily Spanish and our clients speak primarily English. You are the bridge between them. This is not optional.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Comfortable moving between sites by subway when driving and parking are not practical
• Hands-on floor care experience: VCT strip and wax, buffing, carpet extraction
• Smartphone, and responsive by text and Whats App during your shift
• Able to work alone at night and make a decision without calling first
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

• Handyman ability: minor plumbing, electrical, patching, filter changes
• Experience in childcare, education, or medical office cleaning
• Experience opening and setting up new accounts

• Stand and walk for the length of a shift
• Bend, kneel, and climb stairs, including walk-up buildings
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Push and pull carts, floor machines, and vacuums
• Safely use ladders and powered floor equipment

Multiple client sites throughout New York City. Commercial offices, educational and childcare facilities, medical offices, retail spaces, and residential buildings.
