THIS POSTING IS FOR TWO POSITIONS
Responsibilities- 1. Drive department vehicles to General Services leased sites.
- 2. Pick up materials and supplies.
- 3. Assist in small building service repairs.
- 4. Provide emergency coverage in the event of power, water shutdowns.
- 5. Assist with managing building service email address.
- 6. Survey leased sites for repairs and overview contract repairs.
- 7. Drive department vehicles to multiple NYCHA-leased buildings.
- 8. Support the Building Services Technical Electrician with minor maintenance and janitorial repairs.
- 9. Conduct Crack Unit surveys across multiple leased locations.
- 10. Verify emergency calls and coordinate repairs with Building Services management.
- 11. Conduct building inspections.
- 12. Snow emergencies.
- 13. Conference room set ups and take downs including NYCHA Events.
- 1. Possession of a valid driver's license is required. Applicants must have the ability to drive with manual transmission.
- 2. For NYCHA employees: employees applying for transfer, promotional, title or level change opportunities must have served a period of one year at current location and in current title and level (if applicable).
