Temporary Porter

Responsibilities Temporary Janitor Work Schedule is:

Monday: 6.30am - 3pm.

Tuesday and Wednesday: 2.30pm - 11pm.

Thursday and Friday: 10.30pm - 7am.

Saturday and Sunday: OFF

We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Porter to help keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone who walks through the door. You'll support the building from the ground up- inside and out- by keeping common areas clean, assisting with move-ins, and helping maintain our high standards. • Sweep sidewalks, terraces, lobbies, and hallways
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the building
• Respond quickly to spills, weather-related messes, or other safety hazards

• Clean and polish floors, glass, mirrors, brass, and woodwork
• Deep clean as needed (carpet cleaning, grout scrubbing, waxing floors)
• Maintain the laundry room, fitness center, and management offices
• Report any damage or safety issues to the Resident Manager

• Clean stairwells, service areas, and the compactor room
• Change light bulbs and help prepare units for new residents
• Use building systems to log tasks and report ongoing issues

• Cover the front desk during concierge breaks
• Monitor service doors during move-ins and deliveries
• Assist with unit inspections and ensure spaces look great for tours

• Help set up and clean shared spaces like lounges, rooftops, and gyms
• Support building events and gatherings by helping with logistics and cleanup
• Keep shared spaces looking welcoming and refreshed

• Keep elevators, trash rooms, and amenity areas clean and odor-free
• Support recycling and compost programs
• Perform scent and cleanliness checks to ensure the building feels fresh
• Participate in team meetings and be open to cross-training

• 1-2 years prior janitor, cleaner, or porter experience
• Must be reliable and have experience working with cleaning chemicals
• Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision
• Excellent time management skills and work ethic needed
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand for an 8 hour shift
• Light maintenance knowledge is a plus
