Job Description

Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Custodial Services Worker I to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role focuses on routine cleaning and janitorial duties in a commercial facility and is ideal for candidates looking to start a career in custodial services, housekeeping, or facility support. No previous experience is required, and training will be provided on-site. Employees can expect a part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, working two days during the week.

This position involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing hands-on cleaning tasks throughout the shift. Candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping facilities clean are encouraged to apply.

COMPENSATION:
The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 to $17.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, breakrooms, hallways, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Replenish paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and other custodial supplies.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, and entryways.
• Operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, mops, and cleaning tools.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or repair concerns to supervisors.
• Store and handle cleaning chemicals and supplies according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Follow all Aramark safety policies and required PPE procedures.
• Support additional housekeeping and facility cleaning needs as assigned.

• No previous custodial experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks.
• Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week on a two-day weekday schedule.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment.

• Previous experience in custodial services, housekeeping, janitorial services, environmental services (EVS), or commercial cleaning.
• Experience working in schools, offices, healthcare facilities, manufacturing sites, or public buildings.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.
