Janitor Position

Our client, a manufacturing and warehouse environment, is seeking a Janitor to join their team. As a Janitor, you will be part of the sanitation and maintenance department supporting daily cleaning and sanitation schedules. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Elmsford, NY

Pay Range: $17.00/hr

Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

• Maintain daily cleaning and sanitation schedules in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
• Follow cleaning schedules for assigned bakery areas by sweeping, mopping, and wiping
• Clean wares and equipment using commercial dish machines and 3-bay sinks
• Assist production staff with line breakdowns and cleanup projects
• Perform exterior cleaning of machinery, trash removal, and deep cleaning tasks to keep the plant audit-ready

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like squatting, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in hot and/or cold manufacturing conditions
• Basic mechanical aptitude (training provided) and the ability to read English and complete paperwork
• Criminal background check including Driver's Record Check (MVR)
