We are seeking a full-time building Janitorial Porter to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment.. .
Responsibilities- Keep building in clean and orderly condition; interior & exterior.
- Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors and apartments.
- Perform routine maintenance/ janitorial tasks.
- Organize custodial closets and spaces.
- Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment.
- Snow and ice removal.
- Landscaping: mowing lawn, etc..
- Knowledge of NYC recycling laws.
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields.
- Ability to handle physical workload; lift 50+ lbs..
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Working experience with buffing/floor machines.
- Working experience with automatic compactor machines.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
Pay starting at $19 per hour. 8-hour shifts on Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri & Sat. Off Sun & Mon Shifts vary based upon sanitation.
