A family of five, in Brooklyn, needs to hire a detail oriented Housekeeper to maintain a 5-story brownstone with an elevator.
Responsibilities- deep cleaning
- organization of storage areas
- laundry
- ironing
- changing linens
- making beds
- overseeing service providers
- scheduling repairs as needed
- replenishing household supplies
- other ad hoc duties
The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in the special care of high-end furnishings, delicate surfaces, and fine linens and clothing. Must have a good command of English, be a great communicator and provide occasional backup childcare or school pickup when needed, as well as light dog care. All candidates must be proactive caring for the home and react quickly to any emergencies (leaks etc.).
Schedule8-30AM-4:30PM (Monday-Friday) with flexibility on schedule for the candidate if necessary.
Salary and BenefitsSalary range: $55-60/hour and fully covered health insurance.
