Manhattan Children’s Center is a world‑class educational and therapeutic facility for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Students ages 5 - 21 years and their families are supported through a transdisciplinary model. Due to the complex and challenging nature of ASD, our education and training model incorporates a one-to-one instructional approach facilitated by: ABA, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Skills Through Peer Instruction, and Family Training.

MCC is a partner in research and services with The Manhattan Behavioral Center, a growing clinical resource for families and people with autism and related disabilities.

Manhattan Children’s Center (MCC) is seeking a positive, dynamic Custodian who is interested in joining a therapeutic team where the goal is to offer every child the opportunity to thrive.

Part‑Time Custodian

Mon through Fri 1:00pm‑6:00pm

$22 per hour

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of classrooms, offices, bathrooms, common areas, and other designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the building.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling from classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and other fixtures.
• Clean and maintain classrooms, including desks, surfaces, floors, and other frequently used areas.
• Clean and maintain administrative offices and shared work spaces.
• Restock bathroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Assist with general building upkeep and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Perform minor building repairs and basic maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and addressing minor issues as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or repair concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow established health, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
