Environmental Service Assistant I

Type:
Part-Time (8‑hour shifts)

Schedule:

3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, every other weekend and holiday

• Ensure all patient, office, and hospital areas are clean and sanitary
• Maintain equipment and supply closets in a safe, orderly condition
• Replenish paper and soap supplies
• Safely clean/disinfect precaution rooms
• Respond promptly to service requests via phone or text
• Attend training sessions and report maintenance issues
• Uphold a helpful, service‑oriented attitude throughout the shift
• Safely handle trash, linen, and soiled equipment

• Preferred:
  High school diploma & 2 years of customer service experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Strong hygiene and confidentiality practices
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift
• Comfort using smartphones/PDA for assignments

• Must be able to access organizational emails
• Safety glasses required at all times
• Potential exposure to infectious diseases (precautions provided)

Compensation:
Starting rate of $17.32 per hour; after six months increases to $20.34 per hour; after one year increases to $21.34 per hour.
