Mass Spectrometry Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair LC-MS/MS systems and associated bioanalytical instrumentation
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance qualification on LC-MS/MS systems, UHPLC systems, LC-UV/FLD and related analytical equipment
• Support equipment validation and system performance verification
• Install and configure new instrumentation
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables
• Work with cross‑functional scientific teams
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and high‑performing laboratory environment

• BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics, instrumentation, or integrated systems
• Hands‑on laboratory, capstone, internship, or co‑op experience with analytical or biomedical equipment
• Preferred:
  • Exposure to chromatography systems (HPLC/UHPLC)
  • Familiarity with analytical instrumentation, optics, detectors, or signal processing
  • Experience with mass spectrometry (academic or internship experience acceptable)
  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or pharmaceutical sciences

• This job will be 100% QPS‑office/facility based
