Floor Technician; Team Lead

• Performs floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting.
• Adheres to all organizational safety, risk management, and infection control standards, and promotes a culture of safety.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on floor equipment.
• Maintains accurate floor care logs and checklists.
• Operates all equipment safely and according to facility and manufacturer standards and procedures.
• Performs project work and specialty tasks according to facility needs.
• Follows infection prevention practices, including proper cleaning processes, hand hygiene, standard and isolation precautions (as required), and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Recognizes and adheres to patient privacy requirements (HIPAA).

• Uses critical thinking skills, including prioritization.
• Identifies and uses appropriate resources to ensure problems or concerns are addressed and resolved.
• Recognizes their role as part of the larger organization and models the mission statement.

• At least 2 years of previous floor care maintenance experience desired.
• Knowledge of and experience using power equipment, including conventional and high-speed floor machines, carpet cleaning equipment, wet/dry vacuums, power vacuums, and push sweepers.
• Effectively uses computers and mobile devices.
• Communicates clearly, verbally and in writing, and supports an environment where others can do the same.
• Respectfully listens to viewpoints and ideas of others.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Ability to operate necessary equipment/machines.
• Ability to lift and carry 75/100 pounds on a regular basis, throughout your shift.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for your shift.
• Must be able to push and pull equipment of various sizes and weight.
• Requires grasping, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and visual acuity.
• Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to perform job tasks.

· This position is primarily overnight. Service areas are primarily South Jersey, Southeast PA, and Delaware, with occasional travel to Maryland or other regions as needed.

• Valid driver’s license preferred. Customer service skills are preferred, as there may be client communication on the job. Teamwork experience and an openness to learning new methods are also preferred.

· Comfortable learning new technology and using a tablet for reporting and documentation; willingness to learn new tools and processes. Microsoft experience is a plus.
