Burlington County Department of Resource Conservation Division of Parks is looking for 4 Full-time Seasonal Maintenance Workers.

This position is responsible for basic park maintenance duties including landscaping, groundskeeping, building maintenance, and event set-up/breakdown.

Under supervision, performs routine work in the care and maintenance of outdoor areas such as park grounds, recreational areas, lawns, playgrounds, and plant beds as well as park buildings and facilities; maintains and repairs park infrastructure such as benches and fences; participates in event set-up and breakdown; operates and performs minor maintenance on a variety of equipment, tools, and machinery used to care for and maintain grounds;

performs custodial duties, power washing, trash management and other related duties as required.

Work hours:

M-F 7am - 3:30 pm, 40 hours/week, up to 6-month position

Age: minimum of 18 years of age.

License:
Appointees must possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.

Education:

Graduation from high school, vocational high school, or possession of an approved high school equivalency certificate.

Experience:

One (1) year of experience basic groundskeeping or building maintenance experience.
