• Location: Freehold, New Jersey 07728 – Must be able to travel within Monmouth and Mercer County, NJ

Summary
Residential and commercial property owners now more than ever realize how big a role Janitors play in protecting the health of tenants, guests, and vendors. Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is hiring friendly and detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services. You’ll be ensuring tenants, guests, and vendors have a clean, healthy, and safe property to live or work in.

Politeness, respect, thoroughness, and observance of service excellence are essential.

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
• Paint and spackle.
• Perform small repairs.
• Strip, buff, and wax floors.
• Dust ceilings, light fixtures, countertops, and furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Empty trash cans; wash and dry windows.
• Request cleaning supply orders; report breakages and needed repairs.
• Assist building management with all projects and other duties as requested.

• Willing to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products and equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Able to work on a team as well as independently when needed.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
