Steam Field Service Technician – Specialty Rental – Delanco, NJ

Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the field. It will be your mission to support Atlas Copco Rental's growth strategy as the leader in steam rental business in North America.

• Have experience with hydronic/boiler systems; diagnostics, repair and installations
• Have experience with combustion analysis
• Be able to navigate the PLC programs to troubleshoot
• Lead machinery trouble‑shut­tering and document repairs made
• Replace or repair defective parts
• Provide preventative maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting services for packaged boiler systems
• Disassemble malfunctioning equipment
• Have knowledge of plumbing and mechanical codes

• Working knowledge of boilers or experience in HVAC (cross training is expected in missing areas)
• Associate degree with engineering major or other relevant technical degree or the equivalent relevant work experience
• Minimum two (2) years of progressive work experience in a related industry
• Good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus with a strong customer focus
• High energy levels
• Intermediate understanding of computers and associated systems (Microsoft, Excel, Work, etc.), business systems, distribution channels and accounting practices
• Ability to work independently and be a self‑starter
• Willingness to grow within the business

You will be part of our customer center in Delanco, NJ. You will join a dynamic field service team, working with a hybrid schedule and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, United States (US).
