Maintenance Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance professional to join our team at the New Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newark, New Jersey. As a vital member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art facilities, allowing our residents to thrive in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs and maintenance, IT experience is a Plus

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems

• Maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and fixtures throughout the facility

• Assist with snow removal and landscaping duties as needed

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any maintenance-related concerns

• Respond to emergency calls and address urgent maintenance needs in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience in maintenance or a related field

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent required
