Role DescriptionThe Cleaning Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site role based in New Jersey, United States. This role is responsible for performing daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in commercial and residential spaces. Duties may include cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, common areas, windows, carpets, and entryways, as well as handling trash removal and basic upkeep of cleaning equipment.
The Cleaning Specialist follows established safety and hygiene protocols, adheres to client specifications, and completes work orders within set time frames. This role may also involve occasional deep‑clean projects, communicating with supervisors about supply needs or issues, and supporting a clean, organized work environment.
- Experience with commercial environments, including commercial cleaning tasks and carpet care.
- Skills in residential services such as home cleaning and house cleaning.
- Proficiency in window cleaning and attention to detail for glass and surface finishes.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment and supplies throughout a work shift.
- Strong reliability, time management, and commitment to consistent quality work.
- Basic communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to client instructions.
- Previous professional cleaning experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
