The Newark Board of Education is seeking a Laborer 1 (NBOE) to perform a variety of manual and unskilled tasks under supervision. Responsibilities include loading, digging, cleaning, mowing, and assisting in maintenance across facilities.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; a valid driver’s license may be required for vehicle operation; and CDL may be needed for certain tasks. The position has a twelve month employment period with union Local 617 benefits.
