Overview
Airline Ramp Turnaround Coordinator (EWR) – $21.25/hour plus $4.60/hour. Hallmark Aviation is seeking professional coordinators at Newark Liberty International Airport.
Paid training provided. Previous airline experience required.
Responsibilities- Coordinate weight and balance documentation with Load Control.
- Maintain daily trip files, station traffic reports and aircraft handling related statistical data.
- Supervise ramp functions and perform operational safety/load security checks on aircraft before departure.
- Coordinate all phases of aircraft handling: catering, cleaning, fueling, crew and passenger boarding/de‑boarding.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring correct buildup/preparation for bulk or unit load devices.
- Secure cargo or luggage and ensure proper tie‑down in compartments.
- Coordinate with gate and handling passenger service processes for boarding and de‑boarding.
- Handle Bagscan operations and provide daily monitoring reports to the Manager.
- Control LBI (Left Behind Baggage Index) and implement new procedures or product features.
- Plan and handle irregularities in accordance with customer, economic and legal considerations; report flight handling irregularities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and legal regulations and perform checks under the station operations surveillance concept.
- Minimum 12 months airline experience (Ramp & Bagroom experience preferred).
- Proficient knowledge of airline product systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of airline computer systems.
- Ability to perform under pressure and lead ramp teams.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.; at least 18 years old.
- English proficient; other languages may be required.
- Terminal and airport operations knowledge and experience preferred.
- Retail and/or hospitality work experience required.
- Able to stand 3–4 hours at a time.
- Reading and comprehension of reference materials, instructions, policies & procedures.
- Valid US work authorization.
- Professional demeanor and exceptional presentation.
- Flexible schedule and availability; willing to travel for training.
- Background check, fingerprinting, and pre‑hire drug screen required.
Selected candidates will be required to attend and successfully complete paid mandatory training.
ScheduleShifts:
Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Graveyard. Schedule to be discussed at interview.
