Flint Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated team member to join our operations department as a Painter / Maintenance Assistant
. This unique role is ideal for someone with painting experience who enjoys keeping a facility looking its best while assisting with general maintenance and occasional support in dietary services.

The primary focus of this role is painting and facility appearance projects throughout the building. In addition, this position will assist with general maintenance tasks and provide support to the dietary department as needed. The schedule will include either Saturday or Sunday to help ensure weekend coverage and operational support.

• Perform interior painting projects, including resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and touch-up work
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including patching, sanding, and minor repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
• Assist with routine maintenance tasks and facility repairs
• Complete preventative maintenance assignments as directed
• Help move furniture and equipment for facility projects
• Assist the dietary department with non-clinical support duties as needed
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Follow all safety procedures and infection control guidelines

• Previous painting experience preferred
• Basic maintenance or handyman experience preferred
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to assist across departments
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry equipment and supplies as needed
