Plant Maintenance Leader — Operations & Safety

• Responsible for effective management and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of production machinery and facility support equipment.

• Responsible for the direct supervision of Maintenance Department staff and coordination of all contracted vendors.

• Maintain security and safety of all contractors.

• Ensure facility safety and security.

• Ensure operator safety.

• Maintain production machinery and facility equipment in a high operational readiness condition.

• Ensure pollution control equipment and emissions are compliant.

• Ensure level of knowledge, skills, and proficiency of maintenance mechanics is maintained at a high level.

• Minimize maintenance and utility costs.

• Manage the maintenance workforce of 14-18 direct reports, supporting a 24/7 operation.

• Ensure safe work environment by enforcing general safety policies and procedures to be followed by plant personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6+ years of manufacturing experience
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of hourly and salaried associates
• Proven conflict resolution skills with the ability to manage difficult conversations and resolve issues constructively
