Friendsview Life Plan Community is looking for a Maintenance Technician to help keep our community safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for our residents.

- Fix & Maintain:
Tackle a variety of maintenance needs, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and basic electrical repairs. - Work as a Team:
Partner with your supervisor and fellow technicians to complete work efficiently and keep the community running smoothly. - Use Your Tools:
Operate, care for, and maintain tools and equipment so they’re ready when you need them. - Put Safety First:
Follow safety procedures and help create a safe environment for residents, visitors, and coworkers. - Manage Work Orders:
Track maintenance requests, document completed work, and communicate job status with the team. - Help Others Learn:
Assist with training and orienting new team members. - Support Community Events:
Help with event setup and participate in safety drills and other community activities as needed.

- You’ll have variety. No two maintenance days are exactly alike—and you’ll get to use both your technical skills and your creativity.
- 2–4 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Valid Driver License and acceptable driving record
- Comfortable using hand and power tools and troubleshooting basic problems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check, DMV check, and drug test
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to perform the physical tasks associated with general building maintenance
