Cedar Mountain Commons is a not-for-profit independent and assisted living retirement community, where residents are able to maintain their independence while living in the safety and comfort of a service-rich environment. We are a compassionate, highly trained and certified staff which aims to provide residents with the care they need at the standards they expect.
The Utility Aide performs a variety of tasks related to the support of the operations of a professional kitchen. These tasks include: tray assembly, tray and cart delivery, mechanical and/or hand washing of all food service plate ware, utensils, equipment and pots/pans. The Utility Associate is responsible for maintaining quality, cleanliness and ongoing sanitation of all dish room and food service production areas.
Duties include but are not limited to: retrieval of carts with soiled trays, cleaning of all plate ware, utensils, equipment, floors and pots/pans, using the pot and pan sink and dishwasher, mopping and sanitizing all food prep floor areas, cleaning checklists, temperature logs, and maintenance reports.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
