This position requires the candidate to drive a scrubbing machine

GENERAL

SUMMARY:

Performs general housekeeping in order pulling and storage areas.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Removes trash and litter.

* Dusts pallet racking.

* Picks up trash, wood, etc. in casepack areas.

* Sweeps and mops casepack areas and stairs.

* Dusts rails in warehouse.

* Mops spills in warehouse as needed.

* Cleans repack totes.

* May maintain offices, buildings, and/or plant facilities in a clean and orderly condition.

* May sweep, mop, polish floors, and clean furniture.

* May act as backup to Box Baler.

* Meets and maintains safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE and

SKILLS:

* Ability to occasionally operate pallet jack, trash compactor, and/or box baler equipment.

* Basic reading and math skills to safely mix chemicals.

EXPERIENCE and/or

EDUCATION:

* Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

* Lifts up to 50 pounds.

* Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.

* Exposure to dust, lighting, and noise.

* Work is performed in high traffic areas.

* Continuous standing and walking, and walking up and down stairs.
