Job Summary
Join a fast-paced real estate property management company focused in the healthcare industry. We are currently looking for an experienced, multi-skilled maintenance technician for a portfolio of low-rise medical office buildings in the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas. Position will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all facilities related equipment and systems in the medical office setting.
Applicants will be required to consistently respond to work orders and emergencies, and to perform scheduled maintenance in a timely fashion. Applicants must be able to work by Continuum 33 standards in a safe and orderly process, foster a work environment that promotes continuous improvement of engineering functions, actively function as an engaged team member and demonstrate a commitment to quality of service.

- Must have working knowledge of HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical / low voltage systems, etc.
- Report all pertinent events and activities to property management
- Must be customer-focused and able to provide a high level of customer service
- Eager to learn and develop technical skills related to facilities management
- Knowledgeable in the use of a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Preferably able to read building plans and use utility maps
- Able to communicate effectively
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Must be flexible to meet the demands of the property management/development office
- Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Must have basic computer skills
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent (preferably Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college; technical school, or related technical experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 2+ years experience in facilities maintenance or related fields
- Current CA driver’s license and clean driving record (will be required to travel to various properties)
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
