Seasonal General Labor / Maintenance
Ida Lewis Yacht Club – Newport, RI
October 10 – November 10
$22/hour | 40 hours per week | Possible overtime
Ida Lewis Yacht Club is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to assist our maintenance team with closing the Club for the season. This is a temporary, one-month position involving a variety of general labor and maintenance duties.
Responsibilities include:- Moving furniture, equipment, and supplies into winter storage
- Taking apart and storing seasonal equipment
- Assisting with hauling and removing docks and waterfront equipment
- Painting and basic maintenance projects
- General cleanup and other physical labor associated with closing the Club
- Must be able to safely lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Comfortable performing physical work indoors and outdoors
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
- Basic maintenance or general labor experience is helpful but not required
Approximately 40 hours per week from October 10 through November 10, with possible overtime.
Pay:$22.00 per hour
