Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. The individual cleans and keeps facilities or locations in an orderly condition on a health care campus. The role includes the responsibilities listed below but may be expanded upon by the client as needed.

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Must be available to work rotational weekends

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment, polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus.
• Medical cleaning a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses. Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
