As a Facilities Worker II, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving NKHS facilities across multiple locations. From carpentry and repairs to grounds maintenance and facility upkeep, you’ll help ensure our buildings remain safe, functional, and welcoming for staff, clients, and visitors.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance, repair, carpentry, painting, and construction projects at NKHS facilities.
- Assess building maintenance needs and complete repairs while identifying larger projects requiring specialized contractors.
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of agency buildings, grounds, parking lots, and walkways.
- Assist with office furniture assembly, equipment installation, and facility setup for meetings and special events.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, cleaning equipment, and groundskeeping equipment.
- Support environmental services functions as needed, including floor care, carpet cleaning, and general facility upkeep.
- Work independently to prioritize tasks and respond to maintenance requests across multiple agency locations.
