Environmental Services (custodian)
Responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the clinic. The position requires considerable physical activity and involves cleaning assigned areas of the clinic to maintain high standards and meet daily cleaning frequencies.
Working HoursPart‑Time Monday‑Friday (Evenings)

Key Duties And Responsibilities- Performs general, routine custodial duties in assigned areas to meet set standards and frequencies.
- Locations may include entryways, hallways, stairs and stairwells, common areas, offices, bathrooms, breakrooms, kitchenettes, floors, and interior/exterior windows.
- Cleaning duties include sanitization, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, stain removal, and dusting.
- Refill and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels).
- Sanitize restrooms and breakrooms.
- Wipe touch‑point surfaces.
- Empty waste containers and properly dispose of contents.
- Remove stains from rugs, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- Notify managers of identified minor or major building repairs.
- Keep the EVS (environmental services closet) neat and orderly.
- Maintain equipment to working standards and inform the manager of any repairs or changes.
- Lock clinic doors after operating hours to ensure building security and safety.
- Maintain confidentiality of any information found or seen while completing responsibilities.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and report any incidents or injuries immediately to management.
- Ability to take a list of tasks and complete them in a timely manner while working independently.
- Ability to understand verbal and/or written instruction for both routine cleaning requirements and tasks outside the normal list.
- Flexibility and willingness to complete all assigned tasks.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to operate and safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to stand, lift, stoop, push, pull, and move for long periods of time; able to lift 25 pounds or more frequently.
